Love this shot, the DOF, the bright needle, and the slight spinning of the record. :) I finally got rid of my records several years ago... and thought at the time, I'm going to regret this!!!
Thanks all. Vinyl is actually making a comeback so sorry to those that have recently got rid of them. :-). Our records are in our basement which you can see from past pics is covered with rock posters and animal prints. It also has a megatouch machine and a MAME machine with old school video games. Maybe a mid life crisis but all this brings me back to youth and I definitely enjoy the sound of a good record...pops, hisses, and all.
I like the angle and the blue...
ReplyDeleteWE finally gave up our stack of 78s. Don't even miss them. I did get a kick out of your photo.

Very cool photo!! Great perspective.
ReplyDeleteWe actually purchased a nice looking turntable/receiver/CD player that enables us to burn our LPs to CDs!
I miss the pops and hisses from records. There is something magical about vinyl. Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteI can hear the scratching sound as it starts out. :) Awesome shot.
